Programming is Brain Surgery
Eric Lippert has posted some good thoughts on why writing code is more like brain surgery than rocket science, but by the looks of the comment thread (and those URLs) writing usable software is more difficult still. Maybe Microsoft should follow my example, put aside their prejudices, and configure WordPress with permalinks that end in .aspx.
